Summer is coming and we’re adding some new group classes to the schedule!

Side Note: 5280 CrossFit will be closed Monday May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. Be sure to sign up for our Memorial Day “Murph” Workout on Saturday May 27th.

Here is the new class schedule starting Tuesday May 30th.

Open gym is available in the lobby area.

Tuesday/Friday: 5:30 am to 10:30 am, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, noon, and 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 5:30 am to 6:30am, 7:30 am – 10:30am, noon, and 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Friday: 5:30 am to 10:30 am, 4:30pm to 6:30 pm
Saturday: 8am to 11 am

Open gym is not meant to replace the group classes. Open gym is great for additional skill work, WODs and mobility. If there is something you want to work on but need some direction, talk to a coach. We are happy to provide some additional drills for you to use during open gym time.

What is CrossFit Sport?

For most of us, CrossFit group classes provide the fitness to enjoy sport outside the gym (i.e. mountain biking, hiking, climbing, running, etc). For some, CrossFit is their sport. There are many local and national CrossFit competitions available for competitors to enjoy. CrossFit Sport programming (found in the workout tracks in SugarWod) provide additional training and volume for those looking to compete in the sport of CrossFit.

The workouts programmed for CrossFit Sport are intended to be done in addition to the regular group class workouts during open gym times. It is meant for athletes who perform at least 90% of their workouts at the RXD level, and who want to build volume, maximal strength, and higher level skills more than they would in classes alone. Talk to a coach if you are interested in competing or want to add volume to you current training schedule. We are here to help you accomplish your goals!
